E-TUning or Remote tuning

Are you located far from our shop? Or maybe you just can’t make it to see us in person because of your work schedule? No matter where you are or what your schedule is, E-tuning will allow you to work with us in safely calibrating your vehicle for any mods you may have installed. This process enables us to send you files to load on your vehicle and then send us logs to revise the tune files.

What is e-tuning or what is aN E-tune?

E-tuning, also known as Email tuning, is a modern and efficient way to optimize the performance of a vehicle’s engine. E-tuning utilizes advanced software and technology to fine-tune the engine's parameters remotely. This process involves modifying the engine control unit (ECU) through data logging and analyzing. With E-tuning, automotive enthusiasts can customize various aspects of their vehicle's performance, such as horsepower, torque, fuel efficiency, and throttle response. This method also allows for real-time adjustments, making it convenient for tuners and the opportunity to optimize performance based on specific driving conditions.

In simple words we collect all the information we need about your car from you and then proceed to build files to work well for those parts. Once we do this we email you the file to use and send us data back from. Don’t worry as this process is very easy and outlined by us once you purchase our service.

FAQs we get on e-tunes:

How safe is E-tuning?

Very safe as long as you install all your parts correctly.

What kind of power will I get in E-tuning?

Tuning is only as good as the setup you bring to us. If your setup is pieced together well and efficient there is no reason we should be able to make good power with it. The results should be very similar to a Dyno tune since we understand the limitations of most setups.

How do I find out how much power I am making?

Generally, the correct way to measure power is on a dyno. We can use programs like virtual dyno to measure based on logs, but these can be manipulated by tuners so we try to rely on real chassis dynos.

How soon can we finish the tuning once purchased?

Most of the time it depends on the number or revisions needed. Some setups are simple and can be done in 2-4 revisions. Other setups may take 7-10 revisions. We try to reply 1-2x a day to E-tuning inquiries so most tunes take less than a week. Your car is drivable during this process.

With Bains online E-Tuning service, you can enjoy the benefits of professional tuning from the comfort of your own garage. No need for time-consuming visits to a shop; we bring the tuning experience to you.
